Life on Campus
At U of I, you get the authentic classic college experience. And when you live on our beautiful campus, you’re at the center of it all. Whether you choose a residence hall or Greek house, living on campus makes it easy to engage in student activities, all while living within a few minutes from classes, dining and downtown Moscow.
RESIDENCE HALLS: Experience safe, supportive living, while making new lifelong friendships in our residence halls. You can choose to live on a single gender or coed floor, share a space with others in your major, or design your ideal living situation from a combination of options.
FRATERNITIES AND SORORITIES: Gain valuable leadership and philanthropy skills while experiencing the tradition of Greek Life, with 33 Greek letter organizations, including 25 with on-campus housing (10 sororities and 15 fraternities), that build a network of connections and friendships.
STEEL HOUSE: Share household duties and build lifelong friendships as part of this cooperative living group for women. The on-campus house is home to up to 32 women.
